CENTURIONS SOFTBALL

The Program

The women's softball program started in 1970. It was revitalized in spring of 2017 as a club team and had their first varsity season in 2018. The team keeps improving each season and already have player named to the all-conference and all-region teams in 2019.

Basic Eligibility

Eligibility consists of the potential student-athlete having 1) a valid physical (within teh last 12 months), 2. health insurance coverage (short term is available), 3.) being a full-time student (12 credits) during teh semester teh season is played and 4.) your grades at Bucks and other colleges analyzed by the athletic department (GPA varies on situations). A THIRD SEASON OF ELIGIBILITY NOW MAY BE PLAYED AT BUCKS. 2021 will mark the first season as an independent in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

Orientation

Mandatory orientation will be held in the Linksz Pavillion or may participate on a Zoom call for Fall 2021. Make sure you complete the student-athlete checklist and have your Eligibility Packet. An up to date physical is required before trying out.

Tryouts

Tryouts are held early March but will have team workouts starting in late January.

In-season Schedule:

Practices-during the week are at 4:30PM (Monday-Thursday)
Games-NORMALLY are on Tuesdays, Thursdays (at 3:30PM) and Saturdays (at 12PM)
* Do not schedule classes ending after 3:15PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and 1:30PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays.

Off-season Schedule:

In the fall, the softball team will practice twice a week starting in late September with games starting in October on weekends.
